I was wondering is it possible identify individual wii's by anything like a serial number and if so is the serial number shown on anything other than the console itself? The reason I ask is that I purchased a wii that was sold as a d2c version, yet when I sent it off to get it modded the guy modding it said it wasnt d2c compatible, so either he or the seller is lying. Unfortunately I didnt take a note of the wii's serial number before sending it to get modded so is there any way to tell if the guys just switched it for an older model?
