Shrink does not burn - it only shrinks a DVD file and makes it an ISO file to be burned on a DVD

What are you trying to burn ?

Whether you think you can or you think you cant - either way youre right

DVD Shrink does not burn by itself, however, with older versions of Nero was possible for Shrink to automatically launch Nero and burn. It does not work with Nero 8:

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/579894

You have to save the DVD to Hard Disk and then manually open Nero and burn. If you want to burn automatically, download ImgBurn, it can be setup to autoburn from Shrink.

What is that error that you are getting when trying to burn just with nero?
You have some issues:
You have very little RAM memory:
Quote:
Physical memory : 238MB (244144kB)
Free physical memory: 135MB (139208kB)
You need at least 500MB to be able to do DVD work.

Also, you installed Nero 8 over nero 6. You should uninstall using Nero Clean Tool from Nero website and then reinstall. What kind of discs are you using?

I would use Nero 8 Clean Tool.Bad choice of discs, poor quality. You should get some Verbatims, or Sonys. What is the firmware for your burner?

You should uninstall the Roxio drivers, they conflict with nero. Use Roxio Zap to completely remove it.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

You installed an older version of Nero 7 . Don't know how stable that one is. here is the latest version 7:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tool...7-Premium.shtml

You are using poor quality/low compatibility discs:

Quote:
Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AM3
Disc Application Code: 64, Disc Physical Code: 193

and your burner does not care for them
Quote:
Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)
Sense Code: 0x0C
Sense Qual: 0x00
Do yourself a favor and go buy some verbatim or Sony discs. If you buy online, get Taiyo Yuden.

You are also burning way too fast @X16. Slow down to X8.

You are still running very low on RAM memory. If you want to burn DVDs, get at least 256 more RAM.
