Is there a Wii boot disk due out ???

I have been told that aparently there is a boot disk for the wii, the same as the old dreamcast boot disk, due out at the end of the month. I dont know if this will be like the swap magic one that you have to buy or if it will be like the dreamcast one that you can just download and burn yourself.

Has anyone else hear this as this would be amazing for the Wii.

I know some guys recently cracked the Wii for developing homebrew at the end of last month but I dont know if this means the same as the boot disk.
