hi my first post
i got a psp slim ver 3.72 ofw i want to install custom firmware
i have created magic memory stick using universal unbricker
step 2 to create a pandora battery
ah i just opened my psp slim battery using exacto knife taken me 4 hours i was really cautious not to blow it up

now here is what the problem is, i cant cut the pin number 5 i am
using a toothprick its too thick and yes it cracks but the pin doesnt even budge. i am too scared to use a metallic needle i have a
fine needle the one used in injection syringes but i am really scared
to use it since i know that if i touch pin 5 and 6 together i can short circuit it.so i am only using plastic

1)i need some advice on how to cut the pin and what tools to use?

2)how about soldering, is it safe to take it to a pc repair guy and ask him to unsolder it as he might still short circuit it?

3)is there anyway i cant prevent short circuiting like removing the
battery contacts from the chipset

i am total noob please give me a step by step instruction any suggestion from someone whos done this would be really helpful
