Okay, well I have a OFW 3.8 Slim. I created a magic memory stick, right? Well, I turned off my PSP once I made it. Removed the memory stick, removed the battery, and put the memory stick back in, and finally put in the Pandora battery(phat). Well, it automatically boots up, yet nothing shows up. The green light is on, but nothing else. I pressed X, but nothing. The green light still stays on. Any ideas on why it's doing this?

make sure the wifi switch is off, make sure you don't have ac adaptor plugged in, try pressing display button, try holding L down when you put the battery in also where did you get the battery or how did you make it?

try making the stick manually or try one of the stickies at the top of the forum if it still doesn't work maybe the pandora is faulty, what memstick are you using and what operating system is on your pc xp or vista?
Also that seems pretty cheap for a pandora $29.99 thats roughly £15.00 in pound sterling when normally they are like between 30 and 50 pound sterling (between 60 and 100 dollars roughly)

I'm running Vista. I was thinking that it MAY be the problem, but I'm not sure.
See, I used to have a PSP back in the day, where you would downgrade to 1.5 and then use homebrew that way. Well, my little brother left that one out in the rain, and it was screwed. So yeah, I'm not THAT dumb when it comes to these things. One year later, and I just bought a slim. :P
But anyway, I just recently installed Windows Vista Home Basic on my computer. Today was the first time I attempted to connect my PSP to Vista via USB. Vista would see the PSP, but I couldn't move files and whatnot. I fixed this by directing the PSP to the drivers in my C://windows directory. Now Vista sees it as Removable Drive F and I can move files back and forth. I can see the files in my PSP and everything, but it just won't boot with the Pandora. Can you give me or direct me to a list of files that SHOULD be on the memory stick? Maybe the installer isn't adding a couple files or something because of Vista.
Edit: Well I checked the guy's feedback, and he has two different types of auctions. Pandora Compatible batteries, and Pandora Batteries. Everyone who bought the Pandora batteries have left good feedback. So I decided to buy it.
And my memory stick is a MagicGate Memory Stick Pro Duo 1GB.

Are you 100% sure? Because it shows the files extracting and everything. I really don't have any access to an XP PC because my close geek friends are all at different colleges and I'm not sure if someone would want me doing this on their computer. But if you're sure, I'll reinstall XP.

It'd be nice, but the library around here would probably kick me off for "putting a virus" or something on their computer. Haha.
But I'll see if I can't steal a computer for a little bit at work tonight. Thanks for your help, I'll let you know what happens.
