Wow yeah... I just tried to burn a movie to a DVD R with Nero Vision Express 2. It so far has tooken $ hours and 50 minutes.. And its saying its going to take another 45 minutes to finish.. Now what can I do to speed this up?

Computer specs:
Windows xp
Pentium 4 2.0
512 DDR Memory
Gforce Graphics 128 or something


And its a fresh installation of Windows XP

Yeah I followed the instructions and they was already set to DMA if Available. What else can it be thats causing these slow ass speeds?

What does the Nero log show? Can you post it?

if ur using nero vision express, then ur probably converting avi files to dvd. it usually takes about as long as the original video play time. so if its a 2 hour movie then it will take about that long.

It's the process itself taking that much time, it's doing alot more than just taking files from one dvd and placing them on another, you are creating the entire structure of the dvd and creating the files.
