So,

I've been using Adobe Premier Pro since 1.0. I am now using Premier Pro CS3. Along with that, I am also using Adobe Audition CS3. I know how to use 5.1 audio tracks in Premier Pro, and even know how to make a 5.1 audio track in Audition if I have the audio tracks already split up.

What I am trying to do is take a 2.0 stereo mp3 and make it so that it can play in 5.1 format. For example, I am wanting to split up a stereo track and make it so that the vocals are on the center speaker, drums in the rear left, bass guitar in rear right and other instruments in front speakers. Is there a way to split a 2.0 track like this???

What is the best way to make 5.1 audio from a 2.0 song.
