I've been useing it for 5mo. now with no problems untill now and its freezing my computer now.I've been able to burn a movie every other day now & other days or later on it freezes my computer and I have to turn the power off to restart it.Can anyone tell me why?

The app is pretty cpu intensive, using 90% or more of your system resources. This can happen if the processor is getting too hot or your powersupply is possibly failing. If you've got a desktop, try opening the case and clean-out/vacuum the interior as well as check to see if all of your fans are working properly, if you've got a laptop, try using a cooling unit that's placed under it. The powersupply could also be giving you trouble under heavy load conditions and could cause the PC to lockup/freeze, in this case, just replace it with a better one.
Now, if you're using shrink alone, it's also possible that the problem could be caused by a copy protection issue. Shrink just won't cut it anymore by itself and may need a little help. You could try using a free ripper such as DVDFab HD to rip with and then open the files using shrink to complete the job.
You have to give more information than that. What movie are you trying?
What program are you using for burning?
What is Shrink doing when it freezes?
Please give as much detail as possible.
Thank you for your help johnI123! I clean out the fans and replace one that wasn't working and also notice one fan inside was clog and not working.Now everything is working better it hasn't freeze since and keeping my fingers cross still.
It's good to see that you're up and running again, try and keep the inside of the case clean and always make sure the fans are running freely, make it a yearly check.
