i keep getting an error message when encoding asf files with virtualdub 1.3c

ok im trying to encode some asf files with virtualdub 1.3c and i get this message "couldn't locate decompressor for format 'WMV1' (unknown)" does anybody know how to fix this problem??

yes i can play the file so i dont think that will help any other suggestions?
