May sound stupid, but are you sure they are .ISO or .CSO files?

Cause if they're something like .torrents, they won't work.

I have seen some guys who just place the folders inside the ISO and just put it in the GAME folder. So... it wouldnt be stupid if it is a newbie

EDIT: Check this thread out.

May I suggest try to rip your own games so you know for sure it would work. You could try subcription game rental like gamefly or blockbuster game pass, rent the rip and send it back.

Don't know if I can be of much help but if you're not using the Sony NP9660 driver - try that one.
Go into Recovery mode>configuration>UMD Mode. Switch it to Sony NP9660.

try running ur friends ms with the games and see how it goes, if it all works then u mite have a doggy ms or corrupted game files.

edit: are u on 3.52 m33 firmware? if so update to 3.80 m33-5 maybe some of the games u have are 3.71 compatible only

my (+[__]%) life

2.81 -> 3.71-> 3.71 m33-2 -> 3.71 m33-3 -> 3.71 m33-4 -> 3.80 m33 -> 3.80 m33-2 -> 3.80 m33-4
