more CPU power = More battery used. If you were to drop it down one speed i bet that would get you 30 extra

Maybe if you had the screen on lowest brightness and stayed in the XMB for the whole battery, then you could squeeze 8 hours in a normal charge with the OEM battery.

no. the slim is getting the same amount of playtime as the fat psp with the standard 1800mAh.
using the 1800 or 2200 in the slim would result in higher playtime.

Hey LeadBaron....
Do you need a different battery cover to squeeze in the Phat battery into the slim? Or does it fit right in? Ans would you have a link on where to purchase the Phat 2200maH? I've been locking on Amazon, Best Buy, etc and they don't really describe the batteries too well.
Thanx

The Datel tools are Fat format batteries, so they'd need the cover to work.
Here's the battery cover battery link, it also includes the battery. http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802819

If you play off a UMD the battery will last around 3 hours, and if you play off memory stick the battery may last around 3 h 30 mins - 4 hours, depending on the current settings.

i dont think that is correct because if u are playing off a memmory stick it should drain the battery faster, as ur processor is working harder to uncompress the files from a cso format please correct me if im wrong

it's completely backwards, vthenry. cso may be compressed, but the system doesn't run hard to uncompress it. example: crisis core. using a compressed 1.2gig cso compared to the full 1.7gig iso, loading times are only longer by one second.
the umd will draw a lot of power, since it needs power to move the parts. using the memory stick draws little power, since there are no moving parts.
