PSP with FW 1.52

Hello everyone, Im trying to get custom firware on my psp that is FW 1.52 but I cant find any downgrade guides for this version. I assume that 1.52 is not the same as 1.5. I dont want the newest sony fw because I dont want to do the battery downgrade. I would like to upgrade to fw 2.0 or 2.1 and go from there but I cant find those firmware anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks.

1.52 is the first FW released in UK etc - it is very different to 1.5!

my advice to you is to do exactly what I did with my 1.52, upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade using the 'MPH downgrader'

then feel free to install whataver custom fw you might like... :)

Nopes, you'll not get it on the official sony web-site :P

Also, do NOT upgrade your PSP to 3.80m33 firmware >_>
It has many issues <_<

Upgrade it to 3.71m33-4 with the 1.50 kernel add-on ^_^
HERE is the guide ^_^
But only do till the 3.71m33-4 installing step ^_^
Well, after you have upgraded your PSP to 3.71m33, you can directly put the 3.71m33-4 update and there is no need to go from 3.71m33-2 to 3.71m33-4 ^_^

Im now at 3.71m33-4 so can I reformat my memory stick and have everything be ok?

yes you can, it will create all the folders correctly and you will be all set

a great big thanks to MPH for producing the first downgrader hey! 2.0->1.5 still brings a smile to my face when i remember it's release!!!
