wiikey [1.9g] and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

I just got my wii modded today with a wiikey and my modder said that he upgraded the firmware on the wiikey to "allow me to play super mario galaxy". I presume he means that he upgraded it to 1.9g. My problem is that no matter what combination of dvd-r and burn speed i use, i can't backup my mario & sonic at the olympic games disc. I've tried using imgburn with Ridata @ 4x, sony @ 4x, tdk @ 4x. None of them worked. I was able to successfully play from a backup of my mario party 8 iso that i made today.

Is anyone else having a problem with the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games iso and their wiikey?

I played Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games at my wii modded with Wiikey and 1.9g, but I couldn't get Mario Galaxy to work. My media is Verbatim

Are you sure your using one of the four known LG drives to dump the original rom? You cant use any old DVD drive to backup the original.

Yes, I am using one of the four LG drives. In addition to the Mario Party 8 game, I've also made successful dumps of my Madded '08 and Warrioware games and burned clean iso images on my sony dvd-r burned at 16x. The only exception is the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. I'll try to find an iso online and see if that works. in the meantime, based on the lack of responses to this thread, i guess i can safely presume that this particular game has not given anyone problems in dumping and burning?
