I got my copy today and just threw it in with DVDFabPlatinum4.0.5.1 (my program of choice for all of you who don't know yet) and I thought this one could have been a problem (considering it is a Disney release alongside the fact it took a bit longer than normal for the initial scanning/analysis of the disc) but I was proven wrong. This one can be backed up successfully 100% with all menus, features, audio and no video errors using this program (I love it more and more everyday).
Hope this helps for future reference.
Cheers!

I've tried, but the scan of the media seem way long. I let it run for almost half an hour and was still scanning. How long did the scan run when you've done it

I used RipIt4Me, using the 'menu+movie' option and had no problems.

My scan/analysis took about a minute give or take. Which is a bit longer than usual (for me). If I had to estimate how long it normally takes for a scan then analysis into I would say no more than 10-15 seconds before the disc starts decrypting.

4.0.5.1 was scanning for longer than usual, then I thought maybe I should reboot my pc.
Now I usually customize my backup copies so when it finally stopped scanning after bout a minute... I saw 2 titles... both 1:50:12, chapter 21 and aspect 16:9
Which is the norm to copy when customizing?
edit: would it be Title 1 or Title 3?

Hey nemesees...
I wish I had some advice for you on the customization, but I do full backups of all my movies so I couldn't really tell you much about that. I'm also somewhat confused about your question, as there is no general rule of thumb when it comes down to customizing your disc. Sometimes they throw in a dummy file that can screw up the ripping/burning/outcome of the entire disc. I would say that if you are going to customize your disc, maybe preview which title you would like to add or check your liner notes/the back of the dvd cover and it usually will tell you if there are two movies (IE fullscreen/widescreen, rated/unrated, etc...) and from there that may help you better decide which you would like to back up. I say "to each their own".
I hope that helps you.
Cheers!

Shrink alone couldn't cut it-CRC error right off the bat. After enabling Anydvd 6.3.0.3,no more crc error.
The beginning initial quick analyzation took an extra 45 seconds. When shrink got to 10 seconds left,it must have taken another 45 seconds to finally finish the quick analyzation.
So I just reauthored, cut out the beginning and ending crap and looks near original..

I did DVD Fab and it worked fine. Then I tried to Shrink it with DVD Shrink and it closes the program at the same spot during encoding. If the file is already decrypted, then why is it closing Shrink?????

Run it through FixVts before Shrink, that usually takes care of the nasties left behind after decrypting.

FixVTS screwed up my original backup file. Now Shrink won't open it at all. I had this same problem with "Ratatouille" but for some reason it eventually worked after several tries but "The gameplan" doesn't seem that easy.

Are you doing full disc or main movie? Sometimes with Disney flicks there's some garbage imbedded in either the menus or the special features that adds some complication.
Might try just doing main movie only.

When using fixvts do not back up in place' instead use with back up ( create back up of back up ) file instead.

Main movie or full disc?
After running through FixVts, run Analysis in Dvd Shrink before you hit Backup!
