Hi people..

I have a wiikey modded Jap set that couldnt read the wiikey 1.3 config disc. I have tried the same config disc on my friend's set and it worked.

I believe this might be due to me playing wiisports and when it asked me to update firmware, I actually clicked "yes" (I am that stupid).

So can anyone advise me if it is indeed semi-bricked and if there is anywhere to recover from this?

Have you tried the config 1.2 disc?

I don't think you would have bricked your Wii (unless you were using a different region version of Wii Sports). You may need to use the config 1.2 disc to change the Wiikey override region back to 'yes'. Then you should be able to boot the config 1.3 disc again.

It might be an idea to update your Wiikey firmware to 1.9g if you haven't done so already.
