I had burnt the disc at 2x on verbatim dvd-r. I booted it up and my gamecube controller just started rumbling. I left it for a few secs, and saw nothing was going to happen. I reset my Wii, and tried putting in one of my backups. Nothing was able to be read. The configs, 1.9g, and originals. I was about to chuck my Wii at the wall. I decided to reset it one more time at see what would happen. Everything was working fine again. I was so happy. I have heard so many things about WiiKeys just stop working.

How long have you had yours?

Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening?

that is what happens when you put in the recovery disk. it rumbles.

leave the disk in for 3-4 minuits then restart the wii.

why did you use the recovery disk in the first place? the recovery disk didn't almost break your wii, you did.

Yes, it is a genuine. As Ive been told. I came with the little hologram sticker in a tiny blue wrapper. Bought it at modchip.ca

I wanted to test it to see if the burn was successful, so thats all it does, ok. A little weird. Mine just showed a green screen, and lots of rumbling.

I wish I would of known that.

Is the screen suppost to be green?

I enjoy going down to the store, and spending money on blank dvds.

not sure, i never ran a recovery.. but yes, rumbling is normal... and there are no indicators as to whats happening compared to the updates & config disks. maybe the green screen is ok.

but none the less, how about your games? do they work? backups? originals? whether the controller rumbles is not really the issue at hand... whether the wii+key plays the games is what is important.

no my last name is baker. i wanted baker@gmail.com a long time ago when it was in early early beta, and it was already taken, and they suggested bakerster.

i'v used that name for every single thing i've signed up for since. no worries about someone having it.
