Problem with burnt nhl 08 on xbox 360?

I burned nhl 08 for xbox 360. I burnt it with dvd dycreptor(I tried using Image burn but it would never finish the process for some reason). Then i tried it on my xbox 360. In the middle of the game i get a disk reading error and tells me to wipe my disc.

Can someone please tell me wat i did wrong. Did I burn the game wrong because i dindnt do any of the stealth attach or that other stuff. or is the iso image that i burned corrupted.

And my xbox drive is fine beacause i play many other games but they never freeze.

could be a bad burn, could be that you use cheap, low quality media, could be that you burned it at a speed that your drive does not read well.

You'll need to go into a bit more detail about how you burned it and as above, what the original source was if you want any help.

ok, let me make this a bit more clear then.
1. what speed did you burn it at
2. what brand of disc did you use
3. did you burn an ISO or a DVD file
4. if you burned an ISO did you manually set the layer break
5. did you run a disc ID program on your media to see what quality it was
6. have you made working back ups before and if so how many

i burnt it with memorex dvd+R DL and Fujifilm dvd+R DL on 1x speed. Ibunt it on dvd decyreptor.

it was an iso image. I manually set the layerbreak code. And yes i have burnt 4 xbox 360 games before this 1 that all work.

both of those media brands you use are not great quality. So you can expect to waste a few discs with some working find and other that will not. Those DVD's are most likely the cause of the problem.
Get some Verbatim.
Try burning games at 4X if the max speed of the DVD is 6X or above.
Try setting it to 2.4X for all other DVD speeds like 4X max speed
Try booktyping the DVD+R DL as DVD-Rom if your burner can do it
Try looking on the net to see if there is any updated firmware for your burner.

Just a few things to try.
