My Swap Magic DVD disk wasn't working, when I put it in the PS2 wouldn't read it and it would say to insert a ps2 format disk. I know a lot of you are having the same problems, and it's not the ps2 that's messed up, it's the disk. This is how I fixed the problem, I boiled it. I remembered hearing long ago that boiling your cd can repair it if it has scratches or defects. You just get a string, tie it around the disk, and put it in boiling water for about 5-15 seconds. Pull it out, put it on a paper towel, and let it cool down before you wipe it off. My swap magic disk wasn't working at all, so I did this and afterwards it worked perfectly.
