I just installed a custom firmware 3.71 m33-4 and now my usb wont work, the screen says please wait but nothing happens. When i plug my psp into the computer it makes a weird sound and nothing shows up in the my computer folder

OPen up recovery and check whether the USB set to Memory stick. long shot but you never know
