I also bought these at Microcenter. I've burned them successfully with my Sony drx500ul with latest firmware but even though Nero says it's burning at 4x they are actually burning at 2x. I have no problems with other quality media to burn at 4x on my drive. I have made lots of backups of my dvd's with never a problem but after burning about 5 of these disks I got one that gave me some pixilation in the middle of the movie and then contiued to play fine and another disc that didn't play on a friend's standalone but played on mine. My friend's player usually plays everthing I lend him but these disks. I got a 25 pack and they are cheap but 2 out of 5 is the most probs I've had in over a year. I'm going to burn a few more and see what's up and if I get more problems I'll use them for Data.
