Having trouble opening my v14 ps2 slim

Hey =)

Been trying for a while to get my ps2 open. I've been following this guide: http://content.techrepublic.com.com/2346-10877_11-53468-1.html

All was fine until I got to this step: http://content.techrepublic.com.com/2346-10877_11-53468-29.html

After you remove that screw you're supposed to be able to: "lift the metal shielding and mother assembly away from the case's bottom half."

Well, the problem is I can't. I can lift the front of the mother up somewhat but the back (where the network port etc is) is stuck. I can't get it out of the black shell.
I don't want to rip it out by force unless I have to.
Any suggestions? Is there anything I've missed?

Nvm. Got it. I just used a screwdriver and gently pryed it open
