I now want to shrink the file, so i can fit it onto a Verbatim 4.7G DVD-R.
When i try to open the Disc Image. I get the message "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Invalid USF System."
Is there any possible way around this?
Or is there any chance that I can get the DVD Shrink to plainly read the .avi files?
I tried to burn the ISO image using DVD Decryptor, on to Dual Layer 8.5GB Aone DVD+R blank discs. But, this will not read on my Sony DVP-NS330 DVD Player, even though the player plays DVD-R, DVD RW, DVD +R, DVD +RW etc. The player has no problem with the Vebatim DVD-R.
If anybody could understand and give advice. I would be extremely grateful.

You need to encode the .AVI file into DVD first, assuming you don't have a certified DivX stand-alone DVD player. Use DVD Flick to accomplish this task. The guide is located here. DVD Flick has a built-in burning engine which can succeedingly write the outputted DVD file immediately after the encoding process. Alternatively, you can choose to save it as an .ISO image file first, and then burn it with either DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn. DVD Shrink can only support valid DVD and properly built ISO image files. Similarly, WinISO doesn't have the ability to properly convert video files such as an .AVI into a valid ISO format.
