I have a Xecuter Lite Plus 2.3 installed my self on an 1.5 xbox. I can't find a site to describe how to use the cromwell bios. The only thing I want it to do is to make a back up of the game or dvd onto the xbox hard drive and to be able to play off that hard drive. Can some one give me some tips or a site that explains how do that. thanks

You can't do that much with Cromwell BIOS.Just lauch a flavor of linux and Flash ur Mod Chip.YOu will need to flash ur Chip with either a Evox BIOS of Xecuter BIOS.In other for you to run unsign code.Then you will be able to make backups of ur own games.....ect....

Get OZ flasher, flash it with oz. Then, get M7 or 4979 and flash it again. DO NOT USE 4977. I did and SCREWED my 2.3. Read the tutorials but do not use 4977. GOOD LUCK!

Where do I get the OZ Flasher and M7 or 4979. And once I flash it, how does the interface work. Do I enable the chip and it asks me what I would like to back up. Then once it is on the Hard Drive does it ask me if I would like to run it and it works normal? Can you please attach an email with the programs or give me a sight to get the programs an instructions? combs1945@hotmail.com

mmm
maybe what you need is only the bios

not sure abou OZ
in the time the first chips were released OZ was used to flash an unflashed chip

but now that the chips comes with cromwell and cromwell helps to reflash without any help from any other software than the bios

get the bios of your choice
burn it and try it
