Can anyone pls help me? I read all how to guide and forum no one have the same problem.
I have FAT PSP/w Firmware 2.71 and try to downgrade 1.5 using Pandora gui or command line for play iso game. I follow the guide step by step but I have problem follow:
1. "Pseudo format is not necessary" error when I run 'mspformat X' after I format memstick by Windows XP.
2. I used PSP format utility and then mspformat work. I copy Installer, Battery and UPDATE.PBP(1.50) to memstick. I try to run Installer in xmb menu and auto shutoff my PSP.
If your psp is running 2.71-you dont need to use a pandora setup..You can't make a battery while on official firmware anyway.
Have a look HERE to get your psp downgraded-You will want to use the one for 2.71-be sure to check which motherboard you have before doing so, as there are two different programs..
click on the 'Show' button under where it says "View the image below to check if you have a TA-82 or higher PSP.
If There is letters/numbers in the red area of the picture its a TA-82 or higher" at the top of the page...
Then use the corresponding downgrading solution based on which motherboard you have..
I got 'The game could not be started. (80020148) when I run 1.50 enabler.
Did you put the program in the correct folder on your memory stick?
That downgrader you use needs all of the files in that package-
What I would do is format your memory stick from the psp menu so you have a fresh start..Then copy all of the files from that downgrader to your memory stick. Then make sure you have that 1.50 eboot renamed to UPDATE.PBP and have it placed in the UPDATE folder as per the instructions. See if that works for you.
Your system software version is 2.71 right now, correct? And what error are you getting now when you run the 1.50 enabler? Still the 80020148?
Are you sure you ran the HEN-D from the photo menu before trying to run the enabler from the GAME menu?
Yes, I Did and I see the funny image.
goto Photo --> Mem Stick --> HEN-D --> go back --> games --> Mem Stick --> 1.5 enabler
After that I ran 1.5 enabler, It show PSP Game screen.
couple seconds screen went off and come back on.
Then I got the error 'The game could not be started. (80020148)'
Thats really odd its not working out for you...
There must be something missing that is preventing you from running the enabler...It looks like there is not anything to alter your idstorage keys beforehand because of your TA082 motherboard...That has to be done before you could run that downgrader, and is probably why you are getting that error...
In any event, I found another different easy installer on psp-hacks.com for 2.71 with the TA-082 motherboard..
1>Save it to your computer, and extract the files from the rar archive-
2>Connect your psp to your computer via USB
3>Run the installer program thats in the archive-The destination folder you will want to use is your memory stick..This program will install the needed files to your memory stick automatically.
4>Once the files have been installed to your memory stick, just run the programs in order from your psp as per the README file..>HEN-D(from the PHOTO menu)>IDstorage changer>Generic Downgrader>
5>You will get the BSOD after running the downgrader, just press the O button to restore your settings...After that you should be running 1.50, from there update to the custom firmware of your choosing..
HERE is a decent guide to getting your psp running the latest custom firmware once you get downgraded.
