Bunged a Virgin Sim in a "supposedly" Vodafone simlocked 6111 and it announced itself as T-Mobile when I powered up, and allowed a call to be made, but I want it on O2 (ie unlocked)

Thought I'd be a smart ass and try unlock codes from t'internet. Nothing seems to work. Anyone help?
