So I'm thinking of getting a psp. If I do, the firmware is going to be 2.71. I was looking all over the internet for ways to downgrade it but everytime I find a set of instructions, each one is either more complex or requires an extra psp thats already 1.5. Could someone kindly point out a link to some instructions that work, easy to follow, and won't require a 1.5 psp?

on 2.71 you will need to go to 1.5 unless you have a Pandora set up and go straight to 3.71. As i suspect you have no pandora. 1.5 is unavoidable.
