Hi Marquez,

Double check all of your soldering. If your PS2 boots up, your bios wires are good. Your Power and Ground wires are good also. Check all remaining wires and their respective points. Also check for pinched wires. Maybe something got pinched during reassembly. It happens. Let us know what you find.

Your bios wires are: J, K, M, N, I, H, G, F, D

Since your PS2 boots up fine, that leaves me to believe that those wires are connected correctly.

Check wires: O, X, and the CDVD wires: U, W, P and T (for DVD-RW)

Be sure you have a good solder joint on U, W, P and O as those are your cd/dvd validation points. Those points can be difficult to solder to because on the V14, those points are usually covered with solder mask, a green overlay that insulates the copper. Take a sharp knife or razor to GENTLY scrape off the solder mask, add a little flux and reflow the solder joint.

Once that's done, check for shorts using a multimeter.

Make sure all wires are layed flat against the mother board. Use a little hot glue to secure them in place. Becareful when you reasseble not to pinch any wires with the metal shield. Another good practice is to cut a piece of electrical tape in half and place over the points on the chip, preventing shorts.

I hope this helps!!

If not, we're here for ya!

When you burned the Toxic OS, did you include a "DUMMY.BIN" file?

Also, burn the Toxic OS on a DVD-R. DVDs are easier for the PS2 to read.

Maybe try using Nero to burn your Toxic OS. Make sure the files are named "bios.bin" and "dummy.bin" The dummy file should be at least 100 MB.

If you are unsure how to do all of this, feel free to hit me up on Windows Live Messenger stabby209@msn.com Or Yahoo Messenger stabby209@yahoo.com maybe I can walk you through it sometime tonight.

Cheers
