Hello Friends,
I figure there will be upcoming threads about some of these... so I thought that I would start early and try to help out. Those who know me already know what I backed em up with... but here is the list.
Across the Universe (great film if you like musicals with a story), Blind Dating (AWESOME movie), 2 Days in Paris(funny, yet cheesy), I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With(nothing special, unless you like Sarah Silverman), The Brave One(good for Jodi Foster as a bad-ass... personally not one of her better films all in all), Daddy Day Camp (good one for the kids, I thought it was cheesy, but I laughed), Feast of Love(not the greatest...but I'm a Freeman fan), Death at a Funeral(FUNNY), King of California (not impressed at all... and I heard it was supposed to be so great) and The Invasion(Decent...these types of movies don't impress me that much... however it was eons better than "The Mist").
These were all backed up with _____________. No just kidding...
The solution is DVDFabPlatinum4.0.5.5. Every title, full disc with no errors at all. I'm sure that there will be threads started about half of these... but there were too many titles to include in the title of the actual thread.
Cheers!

Hey bro, how about giving us a heads up on which movies were good (buy em) and which ones ( don't waste my money on ) commentary also. Of course the opinions are yours alone, so they may differ from our opinions ( Tastes ). Just a thought.

i'll let this thread stay open for now, but if and when single threads crop up for those particular movies this one will be redundant, having a catch-all thread for loads of movies just won't work; (of course i agree that most workarounds apply to most movies but that's as maybe).

I like bannanas, some might prefer apples, and some are lemon freaks!
I am not sure if something like "this movie rocks!" would really be a helpful thread. Different tastes for different people, so you might have someone coming back and say "dude, you said it was a good movie, I got it and it was a pice of S@#!t! You suck!" .
Piss me off, and I Will ignore You!

I with iluvendo and saugmon here, which ones are worth picking up? The one i'm waiting on is John August's The Nines. Only a couple of days away!
See, i prefer mayhem, then blood and guts, a dash of horror with some nudity, then the gore. Or just start with nudity, then roll into the mayhem and horror, followed by strong sequences of blood, guts, and gore. It depends on my mood. :)

Gotta have the gratuitous nudity, the sooner-the better.Nudity after the beginning credits, then it's going to be awesome!!!
The blood, guts, mayhem, and horror usually come bundled together, LOL!
Of course, chickflicks are usually filled with gratuitous nudity.

Exactly. I think discussing movies, rather than just the back up method, is a bad idea (I don't mind the commentary, I'm usually one with an opinion), but the thread will degenerate into an expletive-filled hissy-fit.
But, it's good to know that upcoming titles should be handled by the aforementioned programs. We'll still get the threads asking how to back it up.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
