I am looking for the PS2 slimline repair guide. If anyone would be kind enough to share it. The laser in my daughters went dead and I've been dreading this day since she got it.

It's V15 (77003). Sorry I should have put that in the original post and as you can tell I haven't been checking up on the replies ;o/
I know how to dismantle it. What I was wondering if it was just a simple case of taking the old one out and putting the new one in?

Well I fitted the new laser to no avail. However I found my problem..yay!
It was the switch at the back that the lid pushes down, now I just have to fiddle about a bit to get it to work with the lid on :o)
