Hi,

Recently, I purchased SMB 3 off the VC on my Wii. I copied it to my SD card, and brought it over to my PC. It was in the usual folder "private\wii\title\FCWE\" with the content.bin in the FCWE folder. I looked at some FC torrents, and the old iND release of F-Zero. I noticed that some games were in the content.bin format (just copied from someone else's Wii), and some looked like this:

I found out that the VC games from other Wiis don't copy, even in maintenance mode. I also heard that if you hex edit the content.bin with your console's ng number, you get a different error when you try to copy the file to your Wii.

Questions:

1. Is there a way to compile the tmd, 00000000, 00000001, ect. files into one content.bin? I heard that if you just copy them into one notepad file, and call that file "content.bin" it compiles. (but it probably doesn't work)

2. Is there any way to patch the "content.bin" file to work on different Wiis?

3. Is there anyone currently working on VC game hacking?
