I just received my Datel Slim Tool Battery I was able to charge it fine. After which I formated my 1gig Memory Stick Pro Duo and installed the TotalNewbieeasyinstaller onto my memory card.

After following the directions I then turned off my system removed the memory card. Put the Datel tool battery in turned it on the green power light comes on. At that point I insert the memory card but get no read light for the memory card.

You put the datel battery in - Then the MMS?

I have not used either a datel or Newbie installer, but usually the MMS goes in first, Then place battery while holding L or R (Something anyways) and it will boot to the Menu for the newbie installer.

If the PSP turns it self on when you put the datel battery in then that appears to be working ok.

I would suggest re-flashing the Memory Stick and trying that, re-read the readme as well cause i'm sure its Memory card & then Battery but like i said i have never used that particular program or Battery.
