Ihave just tryed to upgrade the FW to 3.80 m33 via pandora i have not had any problems in the past but this one has got me stuck
When i put the pandora batt in with the memory stick in first the power light comes on as normal but the screem stays black unless you hold it under a light and the you can just see it

So i have pressed the x and then it did the usual things but as i have said you can not see the screen unless under a light

When it was finished it was fine but now the brightness button works funny you go from black screen to lighter to even lighter to bright
but it will not let me update to 3.80 m33 it gives a error message

any help would be great

try key cleaner: http://dl.qj.net/KeyCleaner-v1.4-PSP-Hom...14576/catid/190 . when you load the program press x to Analyze your keys then depending what your motherboard is press o, x or triangle. it will then analyze your keys let it fix what it finds except key 0x0005. if it comes up with a message saying "Your PSP does not have a Chilly WIlly patched key 0x0005 just press o to leave as is DO NOT PRESS X. please post the results

Hi thanks for the help but i have now sold this psp and have another one now and that is running on 3.80 m33-5
