Personally i never played a dvd on my 360, but today i purchased a HDTV to use for the 360 and I wanted to see how dvd's looked on the tv. Iread somewhere that the 360 upconverts and wanted to see. I put in Mr. Woodcock and it said "reading" then after like 30 seconds went to open tray. Is this normal? It won't play a movie. I just flased to iextreme1.4 does that have any effect?

my 360 flashed with 1.4 does fine, it even play dvds that i burn.
what drive is in the 360?
