I have an original psp. A couple of months ago it just started screwing up. Originally it would just try to exit game like when you press the home key. Now the psp will keylock itself it, act like I'm pressing buttons when I'm not. I also have the battery indicator appear and disappear. I haven't tried to mod the firmware or anything so does anyone know what is happening to my psp?

Did you buy it from new? Warranty job if so. Could be a hardware fault.

If not from new and 2nd hand i suspect it has had mods done to it and the idstorage is mangled. I have heard of those symptoms when a Nand dump has been applied to a different psp than that it came from.
Not easy to repair without a back up of the original nand for yours.

Could be a hardware fault 2nd hand or not of course.

Darn this is my 2nd psp it was bought from a friend who didn't want it anymore (he used it to watch movies). I don't think anything was ever done to it so maybe it's a hardware fault?
