Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic CD

OK so my friend backed up a copy of my KOTOR, but he made them into 4 seperate bin files because of the 4 seperate cds. Now im i installed the CD fine and everything but now when i try to click and play it through that way it juse does not work... first i double click the game icon then it will have this little screen with a space ship on it, then it shows the cd is loading but then it doesnt load...odd can someone help me plz

Well if they were your discs you would be able to start the game wouldnt you? Now your friend however, that would be piracy.
