I hooked my ps2 up to my gateway hd monitor with the s video connection(480p) and it doesnt look nearly as good as it does on my tv which only goes up to 480p. Does anyone know why this is? I even tried hooking it up with component and still the same. Looks like it does when you just hook it up regularly to a tv.???? Help!

only certain games support progressive scan. the whole system will not output in 480p.

also, s-video cannot display 480p. you will need to stick with the components.

Ya I tried the component too and it was the same. On ncaa08 when your close up the guys look better but when they line up the smaller the guys are(farther away) the worse they look. O well.
