CAN NOT figure out how to burn my downloads to a dvd

i have read the guides and i everything else an i still CAN NOT figure out how to burn my downloads to a dvd. ok, i download movies with azureus but how do i burn them after i have downloaded them? i have tried dvdflicks, imgburn an convertdvd or something like that an they haven't worked. anybody know whats wrong?

What file system are they in as avi?

I think they are avi, and if so burn with Nero. But avi will not play on a standalone dvd player. For that need to convert avi to dvd format. I believe dvd flick can do that or use winavi ( a pay for prog )

i have tried dvd flick... it didn't work... so maybe i did something wrong on dvdflick?

no, i have downloade VLC media player and that is the only one that will play them

yes, i have tried nero and it told me that the files were not burnable... so is there anyway without azureus, limewire or lemon wire to download and burn movies?

azureus is just a tool that allows u to download a bit torrent file. Depending what the configuration the file is downloaded that tells us a lot more. So far all I know is the title and that it was a dvd rip

I think the watermark was in the origional source file

This is so if you are using the trial version...once purchased the watermark is removed.

Why buy when flick is free??

Nobody mentioned that you need imgburn really to use flick to it's full capabilities..

yup, i use both ConvertXtoDVD and Flick; i personally prefer the first for speed and Flick's great for joining 2part movies together (i don't mind the slight gap where the join is)

edit- just installing TheFilmMachine, with the intention of using it with either CCE and preferably HC encoder (used TFM on another PC before but only a little so can't offer much advice on it's full capabilities)
