I've seen a few places on the internet, but I'm not very
experienced in this psp field yet haha.
Does anyone know a trust-worthy site with good emulators and roms.

Good Emulators are:
gPSP 0.8 (For Gameboy/GameboyADVANCE) Or you can use MasterBOY v2.02
Daedelus R13 (For Nintendo 64)
SMS Plus PSP v1.2.4 (Sega Genesis&MasterSystem)

Thanks a ton
any suggestions for an snes emulator?
once I get a copy of lumines
im going to downgrade my
TA-082 psp with 3.50FW
then probably upgrade to 3.40 OA-E
and hopefully get some good emulators and roms on there.

Dude, check out pspupdates.qj.net , go down the right hand side and it has a list called emulators there are a ton of system emulators.
Lumines is REALLY hard to find in stores now, luckily, when the downgrader came out i basically ran to the local Rogers Video and rented it :D
Don't get 3.40 OE-A , come'on man, STAY UPDATED

I will update eventually haha
for now im sticking with 3.40 OA-E when I get it (hopefully!)
and if I can't find lumines I'll just order it off
good ol' amazon.com haha
Also, I've been to pspupdate.qj.net and look through the first
couple pages of snes emulators but there are a ton.
I was just wondering which one you would recommend
Question, do certain roms work with only certain emulators
like a specific snes rom only works with a specific snes emulator
or would it work with most snes emulators.
I haven't done anything with this yet,
thus my lack of knowledge

Np, well, there is always a certain flaw in every emulator, some games may not work on some emulators but theres no like compatibility list if thats what you mean theres probably a 95% Chance a rom working with that certain emulator, as for a snes emulator i dont use them so i would have no experience with them, but Gameboy emulators, definetly gPSP 0.8, i have it on my PSP right now, and even though it is in the BETA testing stage it works really well, sound and all. Daedelus R13 is also very good.

I went to pspudates and I tried to download some emulators
but when I click download it just returns me to the same page
not showing anything like a prompt for download.
what am i doing wrong!!

Hey, sorry for the late reply man, ok go to this, and search what you need/want to download in the search bar located at the top middle of the page.

no worries, atleast you reply haha,
uhm I have gotten to that download before
but on the page whether its the deadelus, masterboy,
or any other emulator download I get to
when I click the orange button that says download it seems
like the page just refreshes, like the download is a link
to the same page.

I've used mozilla before, so I downloaded it again.
It worked perfectly, thanks for the good idea.
and I haven't downgraded my psp yet, im just trying to
get all the stuff i want for it downloaded now so I dont
have to worry about it later. You've helped me very well up to this
point and I trust you will help me struggle through downgraded it to
1.5fw then upgrading to a custom one, and again I really appreciate your help

what other stuff can I do by downgrading it

Okay, with custom firmware, sky is the limit, you can do almost anything.
Play homebrew games, iso and cso and DAX games, retai games, watch your own movies, run your own hacks, use IRC rooms, theres so many things its impossible to name them all. + you ca still do basically everything a regular psp can.
2.) I never made my own themes, never have, probably never will. If your planning on using 3.03 OE-C like you said before, click HERE
JUST MAKE SURE BEFORE INSTALLING ANY THEMES TO BACK UP YOUR VSH FOLDER
find out how to do this on google :)

the lumines I ordered finally came!!
and I downgraded to 1.5 succesfully.
im upgrading right now to 3.40 OE-A
I used this guide

and on step seven
7) There will now be a new file in PSP/GAME/OEUPDATEMAKER, named "DATA.DXAR". If it has the size of zero bytes, then format the psp and redo it .
well the file on mine still has stuff on in its not zero bytes.
its like 18,000. do I just run the OE Update Maker again?

haha, i remember when i firs downgraded, i was soo excited. I didn't understand why something wasnt working, but sure enough i figured it out :)

I got upgraded to 3.40 OE-A
so far i've got custom icons,volume bar, battery bar,
and wave.
I also put my dumped my umds to my memory
but I'm having some trouble with the emulators
right now I have the daedalusR13
and I put the two files that come with it
in the GAME150 file
and I put the roms in the rom file within those ones
the daedalus will show up, and It will let me play it
but I can't hear any sound, and it won't run smoothly all
the time
