i have version 3.8 but it won't recognize any 472x280 videos!

i finally realized i could use my psp to watch movies and after looking everything up and making sure don't buy an expensive memory stuck which i won't use, i found that only version 3.3 and higher can play videos at full resolution (472x280) so i pc uploaded version 3.8 into my psp and converted videos to the psp format using both psp9 and super. The problem is that my psp doesn't recognize any videos that have a higher resolution than 320x240 even though i haev version 3.8. Can someone please tell me what to do?

are you doing 472x280 or 480x272 because 480x272 is the correct resolution

nvm... i got it.... its just my old converter didnt make any jpeg photos for the videos....
