Here's the situation. I want to play PS1 backup games on my PS2. I have SwapMagic, Action Replay, 8MB memory card, 1GB flash drive, tons of blank CDs, original Crash Bandicoot 2. How can I play PS1 games with an exploit without installing it onto the memory card?
I'm following one tutorial, and it tells me to make a .max file with some contents. The problem is that I can't copy the .max file because my MC needs formatting and I got important saves on it.
I have SM 2.0 (PAL, DVD, legit), I lost my CD version.
Is there a way of creating an exploit DVD rather than CD? I've created my own TITLE.DB so i can boot using a ps1 CD that I own, and downloaded "uLaunchELF v4.08 PS2CD - Globalwar edition (1-4-07).iso"
I've renamed the BADATA-SYSTEM to BEDATA-SYSTEM (for PAL?), replaced the TITLE.DB with my own and saved the ISO.
To get this to run on a DVD - do i simply create a larger DUMMYDATA file?
I plan on using SM 2.0 DVD - putting on the MC exploit DVD - executing.. and hopefully having some success.
I also have access to a USB flash drive, if that would make anything easier.
