Want to upgrade my PSP Slim from OFW 3.72 to 3.80 m33-5, I found a guide somewhere that tells you how to put CFW on a PSP Slim with just mine, forgot to bookmark it but I'm pretty confident I can find it again.

However I think I need to buy a Phat battery, and do I need a seperate memory stick for the magik memory stick or can I use the magik memory stick as that and as a storage for my files as well?

What I'm basically looking for is what do I need to buy to do this this weekend.

No, but I bought the battery and a 4gb memory stick yesterday cause I didn't get a chance to see if anybody replied.

I think I pandorized the battery but screwed up in the process cause I can boot the battery if the ac/dc adapter is plugged it and if I goto battery status it says "Power Source: External" and after awhile it'll automatically shut off but can't turn it on and the green light doesn't come on if its just the battery.

[Edit]Althought if I put the battery in, and plug in the AC/DC adapter and don't turn on the system the charging light comes on for about 5-10 minutes then goes off.

Buying the another memory stick and battery isn't a problem and no I do not have a friend with a CFW PSP, but what is the minimum size I need for a majik memory stick?

But if anybody on the board lives in or around the capitol region (Albany, NY) and wants to meet up and make a few bucks reply or pm me.

If not I'll just have to try it myself again, or if anybody knows a store or somebody online that sells pandora batteries and has prompt delivery I'll do that too.

OK, I made a soft mod pandora out of my original slim battery and was able to successfully a install 3.71 m33-2 using my SanDisk 4gb memory stick.

Before I repair the battery I'm trying to figure out how to update the firmware and if I need the pandora or if I can just use the memory stick, either or I don't wanna fix the battery until I'm sure I don't need it Pandorized anymore.

Also: I've been reading that 3.80 CFW has problems, so I'm wondering what CFW version should I put on it, please reply, I'm almost done and just need this post answered.

THANKS!

If you don't want to go to 3.80 M33 then all i suggest you do is apply the 3.71 M33-4 patch and then you're done, though 3.90 M33 has just been released as well.
