Running DVDshrink in Wine under windows. Now SAW IV

Okay so DVDshrink works just great under linux with wine, never had a problem till I bought Saw IV.

I cannot make this thing back up...i've tried every trick in the book, DVDshrink reads it almost all the way through and then I get a weird I.O. error and the whole scan fails.

I've tried this with my friends copy of SAW IV and get the same thing.

Anyone know a work-around?
