Modbo 4.0 Install problems

Hi Guys

I had my mate intall a modbo 4.0 chip, he's very good with a soldiering iron. He followed the following diagram to install and no backups boot only originals.

I have a PAL SPCH-30002 V4 with 8 Screws on bottom of console.

My mate checked all the solder points for dry joints, and even checked with a multimeter and all seem fine.

Only thing he wanted to know is about the H and CX points. Do you need H for the Pal console and is the CX needed?

Also what the PS2 does it goes black and start try to read the PS2 game. Now with the Ps2 in standby reb led on the reset hold that in till blue light comes on and it boots into the ps2 browser. This only allows oringinals to boot no backups.
