Ok now i been Looking for 2 days for Answers how to fix This, i was Playing Kane&Lynch, I restarted my 360 and just Like that i could not Sign back Into XBL, So i went to the Test, And it Keeps saying Failed, when it Comes to MTU, Its says to Call your ISP, I Did, there was No Point they did not help what so Ever, So i kept Looking and i Found a Forum, and someone said they Had the same Problem but they Fixed it, they Said they Used Dr. TCP And they changed it to 1364 like XBL Tells you To. I just Did that like 20 Mins ago, and U'm still getting Failed on "MTU"

Plz Help ASAP, I Been Trying everything. And if you Know what to do Step by Step Plz Tell.

Thanks.

Hey I know how you feel I've had the same problem. It lies within the router. What type of router do you have?

not sure if you already looked at those.
How long was your connection working before it just decided to stop?

LOL, people really make me laugh.

Well if you want help with your router you know what might help? Telling us what brand and model router you have.

A lot of routers use the same type of system, but not all. Most you bring up your internet browser on the PC, type in the address bar 192.168.1.1 and press eneter.
A box will come up asking for a usernam and password
By default a lot of them are both "admin" unless someone there actually set one up.

Step 1: go to your router and unplug it along with your Modem
Step 2: keep unplugged for about a min then replug in
Step 3: if still not working go on to step 4
Step 4: Tell us the type of router

To properly cycle the connection you need to unplug both the router and modem. Wait at least 15 seconds. plug your modem back in and let it do it's initial start up/testing which takes about 45 seconds or so. Once that is done (all the lights in the front apprear like they were before you unplugged it EXCEPT for the one for the internet/LAN which of course will not be lit since you do not have one until the router is plugged in.) then plug back in the modem and let that do it's initial start up.

Sometime that will work but i figured since that is the solution that i posted in the links above that you had already tried it.

ok, here is a real link to your router.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/index.html

which you can also search around for the information you need. Unlike a lot of sites i do not see a product manual download but i may have missed it when scanning the page.

and here is a configuration guide
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/...de/preface.html

jees, ain't Google great.

Well i just got of the Phone with them and they said to Connect the 360 str8 up to the Modem and see if it still Gives u a MTU Error, Funny thing is when i ran the test it never even Past the IP Test. And they said Default MTU Settings is 1500 for Cisco 800 Routers , so its Not my Router. They said My ISP (Rogers) may have Updated the modean and F@#$ Something up, or they Have Limited the Packets thats being sent or Something up, but i feel like i did Something wrong in My Local Area Connection that i got going for the 360, because at First it just Failed at XBOXLIVE Test, so somehow i was thinking it was on my End so Played around with the IP And Getaway and then after that it Kept saying Failed at MTU.
