According to a new claim by the advertisement magazine MarketingWeek it seems that giants Google and Dell may be collaborating on a new mobile phone handset. This could certainly lead to an interesting phone. Dell typically makes hardware at a low price and Google is famous for offering free services. How about a phone for $49.99 with free (ad-supported) service? Where do I sign up?

Absolutely! Of course I was just being jovial about Google and Dell taking over the world.

This is the sort of thing that will turn the existing mobile models on their heads. It certainly looks exciting and I hope that it will be more of a global launch, as we in the UK are getting screwed by our mobile Service Providers.
