DVD+RW does it work in DVD-ROM's?

First time posting and I hope this isn't covered anywhere else. Anyways I am burning data to a DVD+RW disc (memorex) with my sony DRU-510A and I have on all my PC's DVD-ROM's will the disc be able to read in other DVD-ROM's after I close the DVD+RW disc? I'm using Nero 6 ultra to burn to the disc. I'm compiling all my CD-RW data discs to one disc which is convenient!
let me know if it works or not (so I don't waste my time burning to it)

maybe, it depends upon your compatibility. Easiest way is to try and read something.

yeah, I answered my own question, I have a T20 Thinkpad laptop with a toshiba dvd-rom sd-2302 and I downloaded dvdinfo program and it only reads dvd-r's and dvd-rw's not dvd+rw! weird. If anyone knows of a firmware update that can be installed for this to work that would be great!
