i was thinking of maybe buying some of the old psx games from the online store, but before i do im wondering how does it actually work playing them, just want the old psx games, not worried about any of the psp games, maybe just getting theme hospital and crash 1.
is there anything special i need to do to get them to run?.
If you purchase the games from the online store then you will not need anything special to run it because it will be placed in the right folder and in the right format.
If you want to download the game you will get it and it must be converted to .PBP format. Let me know which one you are going to do so I can find you the right things to convert if you choose to download the game.
um actually no it wont which is why i asked, i work from home, i am always in front of a pc, so i have no need, or money, and wifi here is 3rd world, for internet connection for the psp.
i would be downloading the games via pc, not the psp.
Actualy it should place the games in the right place because you're not allowed to paste them anywhere else for security reasons. If they put it on your desktop that would kinda suck that it can't be taken to your psp, wouldn't it?
ANYWAYS... if I'm wrong then take the eboot.pbp file and put it into any empty folder. Take that folder and then paste it in your PSP's GAME folder.
If you d/l from the online store it will only let you d/l the game while your psp is connected (and on) to your pc via the USB, once its finished you just to go to GAME on the XMB and play from there.
