Hi, I've been wanting to softmod for a VERY long time and they way i am going to do it is by Memory card. You know, FTP an already modded xbox then put those savegame files on a memory card FROM the HDD but i have a few questions about that...

1.)CAN you acually copy game save files from Harddrive to Memory card instead of memory card to harddrive?

2.)Is my mechassault game a version that can be used with softmodding?
(It is not platinum or classic, On the cover it says:
"Xbox game of the year"
and it also says:
"Get Xbox Live FREE 'mechs, maps and more!"

The inner ring serial number is: MS02308L


3.)How do i put the "SID5.Loader.MechAssault" and "Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v5.01" rar files onto the HDD of the already modded Xbox? Do i Have to put both of them on the HDD?

Im askin because Chunkhead's guide says: once your dones moving the files

Your version is not the original and therefore will not work to softmod. There are other methods and you should try one of those. Look in the general discussion forum in the pinned section for help.
