the hold button on my PSP Phat as become very loose. It slides down way too often while I'm playing something. My question is .. is there a way to disable the hold button? Or can I disassemble it and reattach it with some glue or something? Don't wanna tear it apart just yet ... =D

edit - well i never actually took it apart yet so i'm not sure how the parts look. i was wondering (though it doesn't look like it would) if the hold button is part of faceplate cover and if buying a custom faceplate would work as well. that would be so lovely =]

You could potentially glue a small piece of something inderneath the switch.

yeh i was thinking of doing that as a possibility .. but i don't think i wanna do that .. i can barely play any games it keeps holding itself! =(

That's the only easy solution. Just take a piece of toothpick and some KrazyGlue and glue it right under the power switch.
