heyy i have a slim psp with the battery convered to a pandora by removing the leg. i cut the leg all the way off so now its almost impossible to solder it back to a normal. I noticed i could plug in the ac charger then put my battery in and then i could take my psp where ever as long as i never turned it off. I was thinking of a solution to this insted of paying $30-50 cdn for a new battery. Do you think this would work:

Take a 9V battery and put a voltage regulator on it so it was 5V and then wire up a plugin that plugs into the AC spot on your psp.
Put a switch on the negative termial on the inside of the psp battery so that the battery only comes on when you turn on the swich so you dont have to be constantly removing your battery and putting it back in.

If you did this couldent you plug in the 9V battery turn the psp on then turn the switch on the psp battery on then remove the 9V again?? Or would the 9V not have enough current to turn on the psp? Im guessing the other diy battery pack/charger (cant remember the link) would work to inplace of the 9V.

Use a lead pencil and scrape a line between connection. You should be able to build enough up to connect. It's also possible to cut a small piece of pin off and hot glue it between. When you need pandora pull the hot glue off, when you need normal glue it back.

yeah i would have made my battery that way but i jumped the gun.. before researching more on pandorizing a slim battery i just used the method of removing a leg off of one of the chips insted of cutting the board then filling it back in.

then there is only one way by using mechanical or standard lead pencil to mark on the circuit.this will definately work for slim.as for the multiboot i was sorry,i came to know that it uses 1.5 kernel so it does not work.

ok i think i understand now, i thought u were telling me to fill in the connection gap on the board. are saying just draw a line from the removed pin to where the leg is supposed to be and it should be good enough for a connection??

there's a cheap emergency battery pack that you can buy for about $6/w shipping that does that exact thing. It's a switched pack that clips onto the back of the psp and plugs into the ac plug.
